Questions to explore before choosing a UUPG

Do we feel drawn to people of a specific religious background? (Muslim, Hindu, etc.)
Is there a specific geographic area we feel led to explore?
Are we prepared to travel to remote areas in places like India and Bangladesh?
Is our church calling and commitment strong enough that we are dedicated to reaching a UUPG before we even take our first trip to them?
Are we committed to the task despite potential dangers and challenges? (bad roads and terrain, good medical facilities are 3 days away, etc.)
Are we ready to trust the Lord’s provision and to sacrifice financially to extend the church mission field to South Asia?
Is our church prepared to make extended time commitments to travel to the UUPG?
Do we have church members that may be able to bring technical skills or expertise that would benefit reaching a particular type of UUPG (for example, agriculture experts to assist with rural UUPGS that are mainly farmers, or medical workers who can assist with a UUPG that has a high infant mortality rate)?
In spite of the many challenges, do we feel that God is leading our church to do WIGTAKE (Whatever it takes!) to see our UUPG engaged with the Gospel?
